An
Adobe Flash photo slide show provides you with a handy means of
displaying your photos. Your slide show may be used within a website
banner or just as an object you email to your friends. The Flash CS3
interface contains preset templates for creating common projects. Your
photo slide show can be created with the Photo Slideshow template.

Open Adobe Flash CS3 and choose "New" from the File menu. From the "Template" tab, choose "Photo Slideshows" and click "OK." The slide show template contains a project with four existing images and captions. Change these to your photos and captions. Your photos need to be 640 by 480 pixels.

Select "Import" and then "Import to Library..." from the File menu. Choose the photo and click "Open." Repeat this for each photo required.

Click frame one of "Picture layer." Select the photo on the stage by clicking it. Click "Swap..." from the Properties panel. Choose the photo to insert and click "OK." Select the caption for this photo and type yours or delete completely if you don't want a caption. Repeat this for each photo. Use frame two as photo two, etc.

Click the title found at the top of the stage and replace it with your own or delete it. Test your slide show by selecting "Test Movie" from the Control menu.
